Discover Nature at the 82nd Rally Poland
The Silesian Voivodeship is not only known for its rich industrial heritage. Above all, it is a region of lush greenery and natural beauty, which competitors and spectators will be able to admire along the special stages set in some of the area’s most picturesque locations.
Did you know that forests cover more than 33% of our voivodeship? That’s above the national average.
The rally service park and headquarters are located in the heart of Silesian Park, one of the largest urban parks in Europe. Katowice alone is home to more than 40 parks and green spaces.
The Silesian Voivodeship boasts eight Landscape Parks, ranging from the limestone rock formations of the Kraków – Częstochowa Upland to the majestic peaks of the Beskid Mountains. The region is also home to 68 nature reserves and 28 protected landscape and nature complexes.
Although it’s rarely mentioned, Silesia is also home to the Upper Silesian Lakeland, a unique area featuring more than 4700 man-made lakes and reservoirs – an unparalleled concentration anywhere in Poland.
Hundreds of kilometres of cycling routes and recreational areas make the region one of the country’s most welcoming destinations for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
We are delighted to host this event in such a remarkable natural setting. Let’s work together to protect it!
