(16.04.2025) The organizers of the ORLEN OIL 81st Rally Poland have joined the nationwide campaign called “Forests for the New 100th Anniversary” organized on the occasion of the International Day of Forests. Environmental protection and related activities are the subject of special attention of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (PZM), which is also involved in the Environmental Accreditation Program of the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
When planning the route of the Polish round of the European Championship, the organizer of the rally cooperates with the representatives of the State Forests, adhering to the regulations and recommendations which refer to special stages run through forest areas. It also takes actions to protect the natural environment. And FEEL THE GRAVEL, the motto describing the rally has already been permanently enriched with SAVE THE NATURE!
A natural consequence of the cooperation was our participation in planting a forest on the territory of the Maskulińskie Forest District, in the Guzianka forest district near Lake Nidzkie last Saturday. The organizer of the ORLEN OIL 81st Rally Poland was represented by a group of marshals, whom we shall meet on the special stages in mid-June. Together with the residents of Ruciane-Nida, local government officials and representatives of foresters, we planted over 3,000 oaks and pines on an area of almost half a hectare.
The initiative was actively supported by Krzysztof Hołowczyc, a native of the Warmia and Masuria region, European Champion and three-time winner of the Rally Poland, who plans a surprise for fans during this year’s edition of the ERC and Polish Championship round. The mayor of Mikołajki, Piotr Jakubowski, who has supported the organization of the Rally Poland in Masuria for 20 years, also participated in the planting of the new forest.
