



(18.05.2022) FIA ERC rounds often count towards national championships, so many local crews fight for top positions during their home ERC counters. ORLEN 78th Rally Poland is no different. Mikolajki-based event is a round three of Polish Championship (RSMP). Polish championship frontrunners will come to Masuria Lake District after gravel warm-up during 41st Rally Podlaski (21-22 May) – round two of 2022 RSMP.
As many as nine rounds are scheduled in 2022 Polish Rally Championship Season, including three loose-surface events. Gravel part of the season kicks-off on 21st of May with 41st Rally Podlaski, followed by ORLEN 78th Rally Poland (10-12 June) and Rally Zemaitija in Lithuania (9-10 July).
Rally Podlaski makes its comeback to top Polish rallying series after 55-year-long break. This year the event based in Bialystok is also an opening round of Lithuanian Rally Championship. Nearly 90 crews are on the entry list, including competitors expected in Mikolajki, like Tom Kristensson and Andreas Johansson, who use Hyundai i20 R5 prepared by Polish team Kowax 2BRally Racing.
There are nine special stages in the itinerary of Rally Podlaski with total length of 106,5 km.
