COVID-19

SUMMARY

Organization Committee of ORLEN 77. Rally Poland in conjunction with the Polish health authorities and in accordance with the FIA International Sporting Code Appendix S COVID-19 agreed on the implementation of a mandatory COVID-19 protocol for all stakeholders present at the event (teams, media, employees, suppliers, etc.).

All the measures and procedures to be adopted and applied for the ORLEN 77. Rally Poland are detailed in the COVID-19 Protocol. This document and all necessary forms to download and complete are available on ORLEN 77. Rally Poland web page in COVID-19 section.

Please carefully read all the instructions set out in the COVID-19 Protocol.

The Organization Committee of ORLEN 77. Rally Poland is applying and taking all precautionary measures (Covid pre-tests, mandatory physical distance, wearing face masks and hand hygiene) to ensure better safety for the attendees on the event.

QUARANTINE NATIONWIDE RULES

The restriction applies to persons who:

  • are crossing the border of the Republic of Poland which constitutes the external border of the EU*,
  • are crossing the Polish border from the Schengen zone,
  • had contact with persons infected with the coronavirus, or are living with an infected (isolated) person,
  • have been referred for a COVID-19 test by a primary or night care physician.

* The external border is defined by the provisions of Article 2(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/399 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March on a Union Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) (OJ EU L 77 of 23 March 2016, p. 1, as amended).

Rules for passengers arriving to Poland from the Schengen zone

  • Passengers are subject to quarantine unless they present a negative COVID-19 test result. The test will have to be taken no later than 48 hours before crossing the border.
  • Type of test: PCR or antigen test.
  • The measure will cover all modes of transport: public and private transport as well as crossing the border on foot.
  • Passengers who were directed to quarantine in Poland will be able to take a test, a negative result of which will exempt them from quarantine.

Rules for passengers arriving to Poland from outside the Schengen Zone

  • Each passenger is directed to quarantine.
  • Passengers will not be exempt from quarantine on the basis of a test performed in the country from which the person arrives.
  • Passengers who were directed to quarantine may take a test in Poland, a negative result of which will exempt them from quarantine.
  • Type of test: PCR or antigen test.

Important! Persons vaccinated against COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine. This applies to persons who have been issued a certificate of preventive vaccination with a vaccine that has been approved for marketing in the European Union.

COVID ACCREDITATION AND ENTRY TO THE EVENT

In order for the Organizer to be able to ensure the event safety of ORLEN 77. Rally Poland for and with you, you are required to follow all the procedures and instructions set out in the COVID-19 Protocol.

To receive COVID accreditation and entry to the event site you must provide the following materials:

When the accreditation is validated and a negative PCR Test Result have been submitted, the organizer will provide your stakeholders responsible person the status of the accreditation

HIGH DENSITY AND LOW DENSITY AREAS

All event sites are categorized as either High Density Areas (HD) or Low Density Areas (LD)

All personnel at the event are accredited to either of these areas and can only visit their designated sites and only interact with persons with the same designation. For example, rally HQ will be designated as a High Density Area and the special stages as Low Density Areas. Thus, personnel working at the stages do not have access to the rally HQ.

REQUIRED COVID-19 TESTS

High Density Areas-accredited person will have to follow the rules as below:

From within Poland:

  • PCR test at the residence max. 96 hours before the Venue.
  • Test results must be send to organizer before coming to the event.

From abroad:

  • Max. 96h old PCR test (from testing date) taken before coming to Poland in the country of origin or PCR test taken after  coming to Poland (which is valid for 96h from testing time and date).
  • Test results must be send to organizer before coming to the event.
