The ASTO (AutoGuard Safety Tracking Operation) is an application controlling the passage of rally cars based upon GPS technology. All rally cars are equipped with GPS devices together with GPRS modem. It takes just 3-5 minutes, so it does not influence the crews’ preparation for the start. The ASTO system transmits the data through GSM network. The data is evaluated by the software and displayed at Rally Control’s computers.

The ASTO system extends the safety level. In the case of accident it shortens the reaction of medical and technical services. Moreover, it enables to control the rally properly, both at the special stages and liaisons.

AutoGuard S.A. is an official partner of the Polish Rally Championship – the series organized by the Polish Automobile Federation.
