International Automobile Federation (FIA) works on creating a new racing series based upon electric cars. It is due to be launched no later than in 2013.

Nowadays an electric car cumulates circa 40 kWh of energy. The loading lasts nine hours and a range of the car does not exceed 150 kms.

ABB, the official partner of 68th Rally Poland has invented a technology allowing “refueling” an electric car in several minutes. It requires a special construction of the car.
