It’s going to be a Poland vs Italy duel for the victory at 68th Rally Poland. There are 49 crews at the entry list including 9 European Rally Championship (ERC) participants. Top six drivers from current ERC’s classification will visit Mikolajki.

As in 2010, Luca Rossetti – double ERC champion (2008, 2010) opens the entry list. The Italian driver (Abarth Grande Punto S2000) lost the lead in the series after Rally Principe de Asturias, which he abandoned. After gaining maximum points in Spain, the new leader od the championship is another Italian, Luca Betti (Peugeot 207 S2000), who will also compete in Mikolajki.

Among other foreign drivers: Antonin Tlustak (Skoda Fabia S2000) from Czech Republic, Italian Giovanni Vergnano (Fiat Grande Punto JTD), Todor Slavov (Renault Clio R3) from Bulgary and Swedish lady crew Ramona Karlsson and Miriam Walfridsson (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) are also at the entry list.

Foreign drivers will be awaited by Polish top drivers including Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Subaru Impreza TMR), Michal Solowow (Ford Fiesta S2000), Michal Bebenek (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X RS), Maciej Oleksowicz (Ford Fiesta S2000), and current PWRC competitor, Michal Kosciuszko (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X).

Apart from the group above, there are some more drivers hunting for the win in 68th Rally Poland including gravel specialist and three times event winner Krzysztof Holowczyc (Subaru Impreza). Four years ago, but for broken wheel at the very last special stage, he would haven equal Sobieslaw Zasada’s record who won „Polski“ four times (1964, 1967,1969, 1971).
Leszek Kuzaj (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) the rally winner from 2001 and 2006 will fight for the third victory.

During three days of competition (23-25 September) all crews will have to tackle the 804 km route with 13 special stages totalling 230 kms.
