39 points – this is the maximum score to win during 68th Rally Poland – a ninth round of the European Rally Championship. All according to regulations launched last year.
The winner of each event grabs 25 points, which are granted as follows: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. Extra points are granted for each day of competition according to the rule: 7-5-3-2-1. There are 28 drivers on ERC 2011 list and Luca Betti from Italy is a current leader .
Even more points may be grabbed in the Polish Rally Championship. 68th Rally Poland is a sixth and penultimate round of the season and points scored in Mikolajki may be crucial for final classification of the season. There are as much as 45 points to score. 15 points are to be scored for each day of competition and the same for overall classification. The system is as follows: 15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. One has to remember that a driver who used SupeRally system is deprived of bonus points.
